Proven compliance

With BIP365 Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) you streamline the development, management and maintenance of software within your organization!

With BIP365 ALM you can keep track of all your business applications, validated systems and processes. This enables you to show proof that you have validated your applications and that the appropriate tests and installation scripts have been performed correctly. ALM can be used for Validation and Qualification needs for software or any other business process that you need to validate.

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)

BIP365 Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) includes document structures, templates and processes that simplify the software management and increase compliance within your organization.

BIP365 ALM contains:

  1. A pre-defined structure based on the V-model which includes a standardized document structure and templates to efficiently manage:

    • Functional Risk Assessment and FMEA

    • Design, Requirement, Functional, configuration specifications

    • Master Validation Plan

    • Configuration specification

    • Installation Procedure and Qualification

    • Operational Qualification and Performance Qualification

    • Deviations

    • Release and Approval for Use documentation

  2. Send one or many document for review and approval efficiently to internal or external parties

  3. Electronically sign documents (Including mass approval)

  4. Pre-defined lifecycles and workflows

  5. Version and release management

  6. Automatic reminders and periodic review of applications and processes

  7. Achieve compliance with detailed audit logs track all changes to documents and lifecycles.

BIP365 ALM contains a standardized document structure and templates according to the V-model.

The V-model

The V-model in software development describes the relationship between the different development phases of the software project and the test phases. The left side of the V represents the Verification phase while the right side represents the Validation phase. The V model is often used in larger organizations where communication between developers and testers can be a challenge. But it can also be applied in smaller companies that want to be able to develop, test and release software with compliance.

ALM works great together with BIP365 Project Management Office (PMO) and Procedure Documents. By using all three configurations, you can save project documents in PMO while distributing SOP’s and work instructions for training using Procedure Documents.
